Today I Am

I did this same post on January 1, 2009. I thought it would be fun to compare from month to month.

I am:

Reading: Daughter of York, by Anne Easter Smith

Listening to: "You Don't Know Me At All," the single by Ben Folds featuring Regina Spektor. (If you watch the music video, be warned that there is one use of very strong language.)

Obsessed With: Valentine's Day Projects. We are making Martha Stewart's Heart and Lollipop Flowers today.

Thinking About: An herb garden. I got my seed catalog from Johnny's and have been earmarking all the flower and herb seeds that I am going to order. I wish that my backyard for more sun, so that I could plant a full garden.

Planning To: Dig out all of my Easter decorations. I am ready for Spring. :)

Dreaming Of: Easter Projects. Felted eggs. Planting some Easter grass. Dying eggs with the kids. So much to look forward to.

Enjoying: Spending time with Breuklyn. She is the perfect grocery shopping buddy and I love to take her along on Saturdays to run errands and visit Nan. We have been reading Little House on the Prairie at night, 2 chapters each night, and I am enjoying those quiet moments before bed.

Vowing To: Rake up the pine needles in the backyard.

Working On: A recipe box. I desperately need to get all of my recipes organized. Desperately.

Excited About: Baking Rainbow Cupcakes and heart shaped cookies for the Valentine's Day Party in Breuklyn's class on Friday.

What are you up to???

(I love that sweater on Breuklyn! Children's Place? Love their clothes!) Today, I am going to IKEA. Yesterday, I made cupcakes (puppa cakes, as Ben says) with Ben and Brit. Wanting to make heart shaped spritz cookies. I am so anxious for spring. We have lost alot of snow, but I know there will be more on the way before ol' Mr. Winter leaves. Hope you had a good weekend.:)
