Life at My House

So.much.going.on. I can't even think of anything witty to write. That's a very bad sign.

Snow angels. Maddux promptly jumped right back up and declared, "I want the snow to go away forever!" Apparently he didn't get the memo that snow is cold.

Maddux's buddies. Aren't they adorable? Brad is constantly telling me that Maddux needs more boys as friends. Voila! Boys for friends.

Miss Paizlee running from the boys. Keep on running, girl!

And I would like to point out that this picture was taken 2 days before all of the snow arrived. 65 degrees to 20 degrees. Ridiculous.

My daffodils barely escaped the snow. Too bad the dozens more in the backyard weren't able to avoid death by 5 inches of snow. Tragic.

Happy. Sweet, sweet, whiniest boy alive. But sweet.

Bowling party for Breuklyn's friend. Breuklyn's bowling strategy: Throw the ball up in the air and hope that it bounces to the pins. This is what happens when seventeen almost 6-year-olds are let loose in a bowling alley.

Fabric sea creatures. They have little washers sewn into the inside so that they will be "catchable" with the magnetic fishing poles. Just three more fish and we will be ready to go fishing!

And now I must fold the four gazillion socks that just came out of the dryer. Really, my life is just that exciting. What are you up to?

OMG those fish look fun!

Lovely weather - no wonder we all get sick so easily.

Love the pix! Maddux and his buddies and Maddux in BW so adorable. Not that any of the other photos are less so...his just strike me for some reason.

Cannot wait for the carrot cookies recipe!

What camera do you use again? I have never been able to get such a great colorful picture in a bowling alley...they are always soo low light. Did you use an external flash? If not what settings are your photo? Just want to learn here. Sorry for all the requests...

Hey Mel!! I was thinking about you the other day. Thanks for asking about my pictures. :) I have a Canon Xsi. I just shot on Automatic, nothing fancy. I wasn't planning on using the shots for anything, so I was just using the easiest mode. I don't have Photoshop or anything, so it is straight out of camera without alteration. That is why I love this camera. :)

Carmen - I promise to have the recipe up soon! I got the recipe out of the Martha Stewart cookie book, so I bet that you can google for the recipe if you are in desperate need!! :)

Michelle - I wish that Ben could come and visit! You guys would fit right in!!! :)
