Broken Bone: 1 Paizlee: 0

We have discussed Paizlee before, correct? My daredevil. My child who will scale furniture if she thinks that there is a Reese's Peanut Butter cup hiding somewhere out of her reach. My child who is sweet sweet sweet...

but has no problem giving you the You don't expect me to be nice to you all the time, right? look. She cut her own hair. She emptied 6 containers of glitter into a large pile and proceeded to roll around in the glittery cloud of happiness. She is... the unexpected.

Five minutes after taking these pictures, she came flying down the slide and landed in a heap at the bottom. And broke her collarbone. She is now the proud owner of the world's teeny tiniest harness that will stabilize the bone for the next four weeks while it heals. Oh, Paizlee.

Oh My! I hope she heals quickly too, but so afraid of what's next... I remember back when a gal I worked with son fell out of bed (while sleeping) and broke his collarbone. He was around 4 or 5 I think. It's more common than you think. Those second and third children! (Gee, my dad is the 15th)!! I'm going to do my next Eng Comp paper on birth order, I'm sure it'll be interesting!

My Paizlee's name is Katie. She is 22 now, but when she was 5 she jumped off the basement stairs through the side. Actually, she prayed and then she jumped, bless her heart. The plastic humidifier that was sitting on the floor shattered when her chin hit it and split open. The only break was in her skin and it required some stitches, which she later split open. Did I mention it took the Doctor, two nurses and I holding her down to remove the stitches??? Oh the fun that child has had through the years....there are many stories.

Cyber hugs and prayers coming your way!!!!! Us Mothers of Daredevils need to stick together!

Oh my Goodness poor little daredevil. It just doesn't seem to be right when they look so cute and innocent and turn out to be HE** on wheels. God love an adventurous girl. Hope the healing process doesn't rive you all over the deep end of the pool.
