Mosh Posh Blog Hop + a Giveaway

Welcome to another Mosh Posh Blog Hop!!

Every month I look forward to the Mosh Posh kit that Kristen puts together. I have been with Mosh Posh as part of the Design Team for 2 years now and was a subscriber before that. I know that there are lots of kit clubs out there - trust me, I have tried most of them! I love Mosh Posh because of Kristen's awesome customer service and the fun kits that she puts together. I would never be part of a Design Team that I didn't believe in. Kristen was the very first person to put me on a Design Team, so I guess that she must believe in me too!

(November 2007 Mosh Posh layout)

As I was looking through my Mosh Posh layouts, I noticed that I seem to have a slight obsession with using trees for my fall layouts. Just a slight obsession. Oh, and it might not just be in the fall either.

Alright, are you ready for another giveaway??? I had so much fun decorating my trees for this month's Corn Maze layout that I thought that I should give away some of my favorite embellishments: brads! There are velvet brads, shaped brads, large brads and mini brads. Any kind of brad that you can imagine. Well, except for my Brad.

Hahahahahaha. I crack myself up. Anyway...

For a chance to win these super fun brads, leave me a comment telling me all about your favorite Thanksgiving side dish. I am working on my menu and need some inspiration. You have until Sunday, November 22nd to leave me a comment. I will pick a winner on Monday.

Now, hop along to check out what my fellow Design Team Members are up to! Happy Thursday!!

I am obsessed with flowers and butterflies but I promise one day I will create something out of my comfort zone, about the Thanks giving side dish I would say I enjoy mashed potatos as simple as that...

Love your style!! Favorite side dish? Easy cheesy mashed potatoes :)

I love your trees!! And they are always so different and creative :)

As for side dishes for Thanksgiving, we do all the classics. Mashed potatoes + gravy, yams w/marshmallows (fresh yams too, no canned for us!), stuffing (the BEST recipe -- Martha Stewart's classic stuffing -- yum!), green bean casserole (from scratch with homemade onions for the top!), cranberry sauce (from fresh cranberries), bread rolls (again, you guessed it, from scratch!). This year though, we are trying a new-to-us dish that my Mom makes -- sweet potatoes + apples. I'm intrigued. :)

Good luck planning your feast for next week! :)

HAHAHA! I laughed outloud when you said "except my Brad". :) That was a good one. ;)
My favorite side dish for Thanksgiving is homemade mashed potatoes. Mmmm... I am making a salad this year though. It is going to have spinach leaves, cranberries, glazed walnuts, feta cheese, bacon bits, blueberries, granny smith apples and dressing. MMM I just made my mouth water thinking about it!
Thanks for the chance to win. I adore all of the trees you have featured, especially the one covered in the brads! Brads are one of my favorite embellishments and are so versatile and can be used for anything!

Mushroom Rice (it's the easiest recipe EVER!) - 1 can beef consumme, 1 can french onion soup, 1 stick of butter (melted), 1 cup long grain regular rice (not instant!), and 1 small can of mushrooms (drained). Stir together in an 8x8 pan and cook for 45 minutes at 350...it is a HIT at every holiday/gettogether/event. And easy peasy!

LOL, my DH is a "Brad" too. Always makes me smile. Love the trees, love the projects, great stuff!!!

Love your layouts! How about the old favorite - green bean casserole?

mickismith said...

Just found your blog and am loving what you did with the trees/brads! How fun!

My fave Thanksgiving dish has always been the rice, cheese and broccoli casserole - even back when I was a kid and hated the broccoli (just ate the rice and cheese from under the offending green veggie). I plan on making some this year, even if it means I have to eat leftovers for a week. What torture! ;)
