I am in love with this window frame. I bought the frame (actually, two of them!) from Scrapbook.com. The frames are made by Fancy Pants Designs. The opening on this window frame are 5" x 7" which is the perfect size to allow for a picture and a few extra embellishments.
The frame was white (they also come in black), but I first painted it using Ranger Ink Semi-Gloss Acrylic Paint in Dash of Red and then used Ranger Ink's Crackle Paint on top. Be patient if you try this technique. You will doubt yourself and regret painting it, but it needs to dry completely. Then you will LOVE it.
My mom uses a lot of burgundy, cream, tan and browns in her decorating, so I knew that sepia toned pictures and Jenni Bowlin products were just what I needed.
I used lots and lots of Jenni Bowlin patterned papers, rhinestone buttons and pearl flowers. I also found this awesome vintage eyelet lace on Etsy.
I had so much fun creating one for my mom, I am now stalking all of the new CHA releases to find the perfect paper for my very own picture frame!! I am thinking that the Crate Paper - Cottage Collection or the Cosmo Cricket - Earth Love Collection might be a perfect fit for my living room. Sigh. So many options! :)
