Today we walked outside to see this! Spring! We have been outside every moment soaking up sunshine. It's a good thing that we enjoyed it because it is now going to rain until Saturday. Nice.Let's catch up, shall we?

My birthday was on Sunday and I spent the whole day being spoiled rotten by my darling husband. I did not chase after a single child, change a single diaper or wash a single dish. Ahhh. It was glorious. I did receive this beautiful rocking chair. My grandmother's beloved rocking chair did not survive the winter and Brad knew that I was missing the comfort of a rocking chair on the front porch. You should stop by. We can sit and gossip.
And then I was treated to this. This. The most amazing meal ever. I love it when Brad cooks. He is just so darn good at it. I love to sit and chat with him while he chops and stirs. It truly was the perfect day.I am working on my list/journal of 29 things for year 29. A few things on my list are: learn to cook the perfect curry, finally find a hairdresser that I love and read all of the Little House on the Prairie books with Breuklyn. I am having a lot of fun putting it together. Do you set goals when your birthday comes around?

What a sweety hubby you have!! I teared up at the rocking chair. It's been rainy and gloomy here in NW Ohio. Did have some sun yesterday. I'd love to sit on your porch and gossip! Hope you have a fabulous week.
I, too, was teary eyed to hear about Nan's chair. I saw the pic, before reading, I thought it had gotten a sprucing up as bday gift to you. I would love to come by and chat. The weather here is crappy, spring break is next week. So you never know! ;) O.K. you are such a tease with those LO's. I have to see!!! No, I don't make a list.. I would have to come up with 41 things this coming May. That list would be getting pretty long! Your bday dinner looks so good!! Did you get your Baskin Robbins? Glad it was a wonderful day!! :)
I have to add, the curiosity was killing me.. I peeked at the Bella blog! I love your bird feed page! It turned out so cute!! I will keep checking back to catch the rest!!
What a great birthday!!!!!!!!!!!! That dinner looks scrumptious....no spring here yet...I see the forthysia's starting to grow the buds though...rain rain rain is what we have here now.

How funny, our birthdays are a week apart AND we're the same age! :) I've been thinking of doing a 29 for 29 type list too... now to actually write down what's been floating around in my thoughts...

I found your blog throug Bella...love your projects and your writing! You pages are very cute and those fish are such an excellent idea! I have 2 boys that would love those...now I just need to get a sewing machine...LOL
