The Monday Catch Up...

I would just like to announce to the world that my daughter is officially adorable. She lost that last tooth on the top and now whistles when she talks. She actually sounds more Southern now. She says that she sounds like daddy now, hee hee! I am as Yankee as I can possibly get, but Breuklyn is gaining a southern accent now that she is in school. Funny, funny stuff.

I finally finished my Mosh Posh layouts. Well, it wasn't so much finishing them as it was waiting for a moment when it wasn't raining so that I could take some decent pictures. There was no sun for this picture, but at least it wasn't raining!

Even though Paizlee's birthday is still 2 months away, I am dreaming of cake. I think I am always dreaming of cake, which might be part of my problem! I am going to buy the Wilton Giant Cupcake Pan to make her cake. I am envisioning pastel colors for the icing. Sigh of happiness.

For my scrapbook.com friends, I am hosting a contest over at Scrapbook.com! It is a Valentine's Day contest! You should check it out!! Scrapbook.com is offering three $50.00 prize packs! Lal and Es, I expect entries from both of you!! :)

What are you up to this cold, cold Monday morning??

I have that cake pan :). I bought it for Miabella's 2nd birthday. I envisioned a big one and then a whole bunch of little ones. Guess what.. I never made it. (sigh) See if you lived close you could just borrow it rather than shell out $30.00.

I would TOTALLY do your contest... if I had any scrpbooking supplies not packed away. It is so frustrating getting the urge to scrap but not being able to.. it's actually quite sad. :(

Your layout is very special. Thanks for sharing.

Breuklyn looks so cute! Love your comment about the southern accent, too funny. I too wish I lived closer! You inspire me. I can't wait to see Paizlee's cake. Brittany's bday is in March as well. She has asked for homemade carrot cake. I think she is past the fancy decorated, as she will be 11 this year. I was going to try and make Ben a cake after seeing some of yours, but with a bday right before Christmas.. well, just didn't have the time. Plan in advance... Thomas is the next theme, so maybe this next December.

I hope you are not complaining of the cold where you live (he!he!) if you are, I will send you my weather. It was -17 below zero this AM when Brit left for school @ 7:30. Now, almost 3 pm it has made it to a whole whopping -6 below. Gotta love Wisconsin/Minnesota winters (not really!).

As for your LO, I left a comment on sb.com, but wanted to tell you again how wonderful all of your LO's are. Your journaling is always beautifully written. You have such a way with words, and a great sense of humor. As always thanks for brightening my days! :)
