Date Night!!

Brad is on vacation for the week, so he took the kids to his mother's house (the dreaded MIL) and we went on a date!! It was so much fun. We went out to eat and then went to see... seriously, don't judge me... Harry Potter. I know, I know. It actually gets worse. I watched the previous four Harry Potter movies on DVD before we went so I would be "all caught up." Sigh. I personally blame my old roommate in college. Her endless enthusium regarding all things Harry Potter was contagious and I distinctly remember going with her to see the firt Harry Potter movie. Such a fun memory.

The best part about going to the movies at 3:50pm on a Monday is that we were the only ones in the whole theater. It was kind of like being at home because we talked through the entire movie, which is something I would never do in a theater full of people. Brad asked about a million questions and could not remember anyone's name, which was **so** typically Brad.

Brad: Why is Doozlefour being so mean?
Me: Um, excuse me? Who??
Brad: You know, Fuddledoor!
Me: Seriously, who are you talking about?
Brad: That guy! The one with the beard!
Me: Wow. Dumbledore?
Brad: Yeah, Fumblezore.
Me: Again, wow.

This is coming from the man who is capable of repeating football stats until his head falls off, or I tune him out, whichever comes first. And, he watched the first four movies with me over the weekend, so it isn't like he has never heard of Harry Potter. Oh well. He also threatened to fullfill a life long goal of sitting in every single seat in the theater while watching the movie. Since we were the only ones in there, it would have been possible, but I refused to move so he could start with my seat. Plan foiled. Bwah ha ha!! Such a wonderful day.

I can't believe you wouldn't let poor Brad have your seat for one second! Fuzelmore would be so disappointed in you. ROFLOL Date night! I need one of those but without the date so I can scrap! =0)

OK I am picturing you in the car waiting for Brad in a trench coat, sunglasses and a large brimmed hat slumped down in the seat!

Poor Brad is still whining about not accomplishing his goal. He acts like it was his first step towards world domination. :)

Yes, BB. I told him I would walk home if he didn't calm down. He didn't think it was much of a threat... more like a reward. :)

OK, I told Chris about Brad's "life goal" and he got the "that's such a good idea & I should try to do it" look. Thanks a lot! LOL

LOL That's so funny! I'm embarrassed to say that I am always the one asking Miguel questions during a movie and he hates it! LOL So I try to not talk at all even if I don't know what the heck is going on! LOL How great that you all got to go out on a "date". I think Miguel and I are due one here soon! We usually try to go at least once a month!
